The 2011 Champions League Final at Wembley Stadium saw a European clash of the giants. In a repeat of the 2009 final Barcelona took on Manchester United. Both teams had won their respective league championships and both had defeated their main domestic rivals on the way to Wembley. But it was Barcelona who triumphed with what was widely regarded as one of the greatest team performances in European Cup history.
